Clerical Support and Skilled Volunteers

Do you want a seated opportunity or do have a skill you'd like to share with the Food Bank?

Clerical Support volunteer opportunities are very broad.

Volunteers are often connected to one of the Food Bank’s departments and work directly with our staff to complete projects. The skills that are involved with clerical tasks range from:

  • general office work like filing
  • folding letters
  • assisting people with SNAP (food stamp benefits) sign-ups

The flexibility in the volunteer position and the commitment from both volunteers and Food Bank staff varies greatly depending on the project.

Volunteers must be more than 12 years old to participate in this activity. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

To learn more about upcoming Clerical Support projects, and how you can use your unique skills to serve alongside us, we ask that you contact our volunteer team directly at volunteer@pittsburghfoodbank.org or call 412-745-7600.
