Any spoilage under 20 percent for a single item will not receive a refund as some loss is expected when handling produce at the case level. Please understand we regularly inspect produce and follow up on all issues, we are unable to handle every item or every case with 100% quality assurance. This form is meant to communicate those issues, help with processing refunds when appropriate, and to help us to relay this information to suppliers. The Food Bank just marked down some items in our warehouse inventory. These are slow moving items that we need to move out to make room for new inventory. Take advantage of the heavy markdowns and in some cases free product. Look for more bargains to be posted in the Markdown Alert on the Primarius Web Window you use to place your order.
2018-19 TEFAP Forms
All Food Pantries receiving TEFAP product should be using the new 2018-19 TEFAP forms during registration. To download the forms, click on Agency Resources on the right side of this page under “notable links.” Scroll down and click the forms page. These forms must be printed double-sided with the anti-discrimination statement on the back.
Please remember that TEFAP is a self declaration program and food pantries are not permitted to require individuals and families to provide proof of income for TEFAP product. If you have any questions or need us to print forms for you, please contact your compliance coordinator.
ORDERING PROCESS REMINDER
(for agencies that receive deliveries from the Food Bank)
Agencies that receive deliveries should be ordering dry products up to 10 days in advance of their delivery. The second order which has a closer time frame to the delivery is for frozen, refrigerated/cooler items including produce and shop thru items. The 2nd order must be submitted by 7:00 am before the day of delivery.
Note: When placing order for CSFP Senior Boxes be sure to include the CSFP cheese on your dry order
Search Tips to isolate the dry items for ordering type “Dry” in the search box. You can also isolate frozen and cooler items by typing refrigerated for cooler items and frozen for frozen items.

Refrigerated and Frozen Food Protection
Please remember to use freezer blankets to protect the integrity of all refrigerated and frozen items at your pantry distributions. Refrigerated and frozen food must be completely covered to keep them at the appropriate temperature. Freezer blankets, while useful for keeping foods cold during your distribution, should not be used to replace refrigerators or freezers. If you do not have freezer blankets, we may be able to provide them for you. Contact a member of the Network Development team if you have any questions. We appreciate your attention to this important matter.
