    This year, USBG Pittsburgh and Campari America teamed up for a fundraiser to benefit Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The USBG Pittsburgh Executive Councill & Charity Committee (with the help of Campari America and photographer, Alyssa Capolupo) put together a Charity Calendar featuring bars and restaurants from around the Pittsburgh area.     2018 Scouting for Food

    Scouting for Food is the Boy Scouts of America-Laurel Highlands Council’s annual food drive, the largest of the spring season. Scouts collect food in their neighborhoods and many conscientious corporations participate by collecting food or hosting a Virtual Food Drive.     Crush the Commonwealth to Crush Hunger

    Every year, Crush the Commonwealth, an underground organized cycling race spanning the 380 miles between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, tests the wills of 30-40 of the most hardcore long-distance riders (a category Erik Thogerson, Jeremiah Sullivan, and Dan Ross don’t quite fit).     The National Association of Letter Carriers’ “Stamp Out Hunger” Campaign is the largest one-day food drive in the nation, collecting more than 70 million pounds of food each year.
