The Summer Food Program provides free meals and activities for kids and teens during the summer. Visit your neighborhood site today!

When?

Most sites are open every day from June 8 – August 21.

What?

Kids and teens can get 1 or 2 meals (a breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner) and enjoy free, fun activities.

Why?

These sites are great places for kids to hang out with friends, have fun and eat some good food!

Find a Summer Food site near you

  1. Text “MEALPA” to 877-877, or
  2. Call 211 for the United Way hotline to hear location and site schedules, or
  3. Go online to the USDA Summer Meal Site Finder.

This program is run by the USDA, and there are thousands of sites all across the country attended by millions of kids.  And don’t worry — no qualifications or paperwork required.
