Today is National Voter Registration Day!

In 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. Join the Food Bank and Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership in making sure that everyone who wants to vote in the next election is able to do so.

What you can do today

  1. Not registered to vote or did you recently move? Stop by the Food Bank today and we can help you register for the first time or for a change of address. The Food Bank is located at 1 North Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110 (down the road from Kennywood Park). You can also register online by clicking here.
  2. Already registered to vote? Wonderful! If you’re near the Food Bank today, stop by and make a commitment to vote by filling out a ‘pledge to vote’ card.
  3. Encourage your family, friends and coworkers to register and pledge to vote.
  4. Spread the word on social media – #VoterRegistrationDay

We believe voting is a powerful way to speak up about issues you care about, like ending hunger in America. Celebrate democracy and register or pledge to vote today.
