Justin Lee Named Food Bank Chief Operating Officer

DUQUESNE, PA (Jan. 14, 2016) — Justin Lee, who most recently served as director of supply chain operations at Edward Marc Brands, Inc. and has more than seven years of supply chain and logistics management experience, has been named chief operating officer of Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

In his new position, Mr. Lee will oversee and direct all operational and facility-related functions including: distribution centers, logistics, inventory management and maintenance of buildings and fleet. He will also be responsible for sourcing, distribution programs and network development.

“As an organization that supplies food for more than 100,000 meals a month, we are thrilled to have a chief operating officer with a solid history of distributions, operations and logistics experience,” said President and CEO Lisa Scales. “Our long-term goal to eliminate hunger in southwestern Pennsylvania is reliant on an efficient distribution process. Mr. Lee’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as well as his analytical experience will be critical to achieving this goal.”

In addition to Mr. Lee’s most recent experience, he also held positions of increasing responsibility with Bayer MaterialScience, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma international society for business, and serves in a leadership role at North Way Christian Community.
