Let’s get the candidates to talk about hunger.
For the first time in Presidential debate history the public is being polled on potential questions for the candidates. The Open Debate Coalition, a coalition of advocacy and policy organizations from across the political spectrum, has made a deal with the TV networks to take public suggestions for Presidential debate questions. The 30 questions that receive the most votes will be considered.
One of our national partners, MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, recently submitted a question about food insecurity and it is already getting an amazing response.
You can help.
42 million Americans experience food insecurity. We need the candidates to talk about this important issue. You can help by clicking on this link to vote to include a question about Americans who struggle to get enough to eat each day.
After you vote, you can help spread the word.
2. Share this opportunity with your family, friends and co-workers.
It is important that the next leader of our nation cares about people in our country who are struggling to put food on the table. Thank you for helping us put the issue of hunger in the national spotlight.
