Fall FoodShare
Fall FoodShare – On weekends during October & November, the Girl Scouts and other volunteers will be at your local Giant Eagle collecting food. While you’re shopping, you can purchase a few extra items for the hungry (we’ll give you a list of what’s most needed), or make a cash donation at the register. Remember, every dollar you donate makes it possible for the food bank to purchase five dollars worth of food! Fall Foodshare is one of the largest food drives of the year, and brings in nearly 100,000 pounds of food and about as much cash every year.
