Donate Food

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank relies on donated food and household products to supply our network of 380 member agencies.

Grocery ListFood Drives

If you are hosting a food drive, please download the Food Drive Kit for literature and support materials (brochure, signage, grocery list, etc). We also have a special holiday "fixins" shopping list for fall food drives.

Unless special arrangements are made, please only donate non-perishable items - no glass containers please. The Food Bank is committed to good nutrition, so please choose healthy items. For further information on hosting a food drive, contact the Food Drive Coordinators at (412) 460-3663 ext. 209.

Donated food is accepted at the warehouse in Duquesne weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, please check in at the front desk upon arrival. If you are unable to come to the warehouse, food may be delivered to one of our convenient drop off sites. Download a list of drop off locations.

You can also participate in our Virtual Food Drive right from your computer. Contact Tara if you would like to host your own virtual food drive at (412) 460-3663 ext. 290.

Commercial Food Donors

The Food Bank welcomes donations from local and national food warehouses. Prepared food can also be donated through our Three Rivers Table program. Learn more about these donation programs and our other sources of food.

Hunters Sharing the Harvest

Hunters Sharing the Harvest (HSH) is a statewide program by which hunters can donate venison to their local Food Bank. Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank gladly accepts donations from hunters who participate in this program through the processors listed on the HSH website.
