Food Bank Annual Holiday Telethon

The Food Bank Annual Telethon aired throughout the day Thursday, December 17th on WPXI Channel 11. The economic downturn has meant that many more people are at risk of hunger and need our help!
The Food Bank is closed this Thursday and Friday (December 24 & 25) for the Christmas Holiday - otherwise we are open on our usual schedule.
Get Involved:
- Donate Online: Or mail a check to GPCFB, 1 N. Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110.
- Volunteer: Learn about the various opportunities to give your time.
- Take Action: Advocating to end hunger is easy with the tools available through the Hunger Action Center. Sign up for alerts and email your legislator when hunger issues arise.
- Host a Food Drive: Help restock our shelves for the hard winter months ahead.
- Get Help: Everyone is feeling the pinch of the economy and the Food Bank is here to help, whether you need food stamps, a food pantry or information for a friend. Our online directory is a great resource for locating vital services to help you get back on your feet. Or, you can always call us at 412-460-3663, ext 456.
Thanks to everyone who makes the work we do possible. It is never okay for people to struggle with hunger, but the holidays can be especially hard.
