Changes to PA Child & Adult Care Food Program
The PA Department of Education will soon start to implement changes to the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) as it relates to providers who can apply for aid through the program.
Previously the program did not allow relatives or neighbors providing approved child care services to apply for help through the program. The change in the program requirements could help up to 38,000 PA children in need. Read more about the changes in the Philadelphia Inquirer article from June 25.
